SMTP

The email system, used to send outgoing messages. An email client such as a PC or Cell Phone, connects to the email server and sends it the emails in the Outbox for delivery to the recipient.

This method of sending emails, enables the sender to write the email off-line and connect up to the server only to send the written messages in a relatively short bursts.

The server settings and the User ID / Password need to be setup for this to work.
