Motorola T280 Lite

	I have been using this phone for about 3 months now on a trial basis with my company, as I was looking for a replacement for our standard company phone. A bit sceptable at first as I use to own a Motorola Flare many years ago and a V50 so I knew about some of the problem with a Motorola phones such as the tricky menu system.

First impressions was that it was a bit big, smaller then the T250, T260 versions that this is based on but still quite weighty the reason being to a large LCD screen as this is a GPRS phone.

Talktime is at a healthy 40 mins, with standby time at around 250 hours, also using the Tru Sync CD rom and USB Data cable is very easy to use.

Generally this is a feature packed phone, ideally for Business use but since trialing it I decided to buy one.

Ease of use:

Motorola revamped their traditional hard to use menu system, to a more user friendly Nokia-esque system which works very well with the navigation joystick. As I recommended this phone to my company which has about 150 mobile users I had to make sure there wouldn't be any problems using it and I was right!

Build Quality

First Impression is that it looks a bit flimsy but it can take a knock or two. Also the large LCD screen is prone to scratching as its relatively exposed so I recommend a phone case.

Reliability

Haven't had any problems with dropped calls or screen freezing. Very reliable.

Very good reception with good voice quality.
