Review: The Samsung E630
As you know slider phones are rapidly gaining in popularity
in the mobile phone industry. Although the D500
is a very popular handset the E630 is similar in appearance
to the Samsung D500, but slightly smaller, lighter
and cheaper! Although it manages to still have the following
functionality: VGA sensor, built-in high quality flash, multi-shot,
picture effects for editing images, plug-in speaker, GPRS
functionality and a 65 536-colour screen. It also has 24 MB
of internal memory.
The new Samsung E630, is characterised by its elegant
dual coloured (Silver and Black), easy open sliding motion,
and integrated antenna. It has an intuitive user interface,
speedy performance and excellent sound features.
The Samsung E630 is a tri-band GSM phone with GPRS
and it includes a built-in WAP 2.0 browser and email client.
Of course the E630 also supports MMS and SMS, but it can also
be synchronised with a PC to keep appointments and contacts
up to date.
Although the E630 does not benefit from Bluetooth capability,
data such as photos and contacts can be transferred using
infrared onto a printer or laptop. Or you could send them
