USA is not listed in the shopping cart - do you ship to the USA?

I am looking for a phone that has not yet been released. Can you tell me when it will be out and how much it will cost?

Unfortunately, mobile handset manufacturers do not give precise dates of launches in advance nor do they give any prices. Therefore we are not able to quote accurately. You will see on our home page a number of new phones that are due to be released with the best indication that we have.

I would like to pay by Credit / Debit card. Which do you accept?

We accept credit cards such as Visa and MasterCard. We also accept debit cards such as Switch / Maestro, Delta and Visa.

However, for ALL card orders, we need to ship to the registered name and address of
the card holder, so please quote these exactly as they appear on your statement.

Visa at the moment can only be processed automatically for UK orders. For international orders, we will need an authorisation form to be completed and faxed back to us.

What does “SIM Free Phone” mean? 

SIM Free means you get the phone without the line (or the GSM chip / SIM, that goes with it). It also means that the phone is not locked to any particular network. You need to check the frequency of your network is available on the phone you want to buy.

Do all your phones work in the UK, EU and USA?

In the UK the networks use either GSM 900 (mmO2 and Vodafone) or GSM 1800 (Orange and One2One). Most of our phones are dual band and will therefore work on either of these and most of the world.

In the USA and Canada, GSM operators use GSM 1900. Therefore you need either a tri-band phone or a dual band that has GSM 1900 capability. Here is a list of some of the best-sellers that will work in the US and most of the world.

We can offer UK customers a fully comprehensive Mobile Phone / PDA insurance service.

Can I pay by credit card and have my order shipped to Indonesia?

No. We do not accept orders from Indonesia or Africa.

Costs

The costs of each product or service is displayed on the web site. Prices should always be confirmed prior to placing an order, as these may have changed from when you last visited the web site.

For orders placed within Mainland UK, orders are despatched by registered or recorded next day delivery. Current cost is under £6 for insured next business day delivery.

For International orders, we use FedEx or equivalent service. Please contact us so that we may advise on FedEx's prevailing rates for delivery of the products to you.



What about Delivery Schedules?

We aim for your order to reach you, on your doorstep, within 5 business days of confirmation of order.

What about Back Orders?

All of our products are subject to availability. If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. We will e-mail you advising of the availability of the item and giving you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We will continue to update you as the position changes. Your payment card will not be charged until the item is available and you have confirmed that you wish to purchase it.

What about Tax Charges?

All orders made from the UK or the European Union are subject to 17.5% VAT. This is included in the price shown. The VAT invoice will be sent with your order. The VAT will also rise to 20% on the 1 JAN 2011.


What about Credit Card Security?

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.


What about my Warranty?

All our phones and accessories are covered by a two years manufacturer's Warranty. In the unlikely event that the equipment proves to be defective due to materials or workmanship, it may either be replaced or repaired free of charge by the manufacturer. Note that if you use mPhone to forward such items to the manufacturer, you will need to cover all shipping costs involved.

If your item (s) is faulty and we receive it within 14 days, we will replace it for you free of charge. A Returns form should be sent with the faulty item.

USA is not listed in the shopping cart - do you ship to the USA?

Due to a large number of fraudulent orders received from the USA, we have temporarily suspended acceptance of card payment for such orders from new customers. Previous customers, using the same payment details as before, can send the order through by email or fax while new customers will need send the payment either by wire transfer or Western Union. If you would like to go ahead, please advise the item or items you require, the delivery name, address and telephone number as well as your preferred payment option, so that we can send you a proforma invoice with the relevant payment instructions..>>

mPhone Limited or any other associated company have a policy of not disclosing a buyers' information to third parties. Cookies may be used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, once you have selected an item.

Prices and Information

While we do our best to ensure that the prices and the technical specifications we quote on our web site are correct and up to date, we cannot guarantee that they are. Should there be any variation in price while your order is being processed, we will contact you to make you aware of these variations and confirm your acceptance. If a price of an item goes down between when you post your order and when we send our confirmation of your order, you will only be charged the lower price.
