The U9 is also known as the Motorola PEBL U9 or PEBL2. The U9 comes with an outstanding external screen which is touch sensitive.

The built in camera feature allows the user to enjoy capturing still photos & moving video footage on their U9 mobile phone. The camera is a 2 megapixel camera which allows the user to capture all those fun parts of their day as a still photo or as a moving video clip. The U9 supports video in MPEG4, 3GPP & H263 format.

The user can capture, save or share their photos & video recordings. The Motorola U9 supports MMS multimedia messaging service which allows the user to attach either a photo or video clip to a message with text & sound. The MMS message can be sent & shared between all MMS compatible mobile phone users.
