Made for
Results
Advanced mechanical
solutions and features deepen the essence of the Nokia
5100 phone and facilitate fulfilling your demanding
needs. It's not only about personal well-being, balance,
and pleasure - it's about results.
The built in
flashlight can come in handy when you find yourself
in the dark. The calorie counter gives an estimate of
calories burned during different activities - so you
know when it's time to boost up your energy level! Other
features are an integrated loudspeaker enabling the
phone to be used as a handsfree speakerphone, a stereo
FM radio, automatic volume control to compensate for
background noise and a sound meter revealing the estimated
noise level of the surroundings. A thermometer, countdown
timer, and stopwatch are also part of the extensive
feature set of the Nokia 5100 phone.
The thermometer, calorie counter, and sound meter in
the Nokia 5100 give approximate values only and should
not be used for professional purposes.

Memory Functions |

in the Nokia 5100:

- up to 300 entries
- SMS - up
to 150 text messages or 50 picture/concatenated messages

share a memory pool of 725 kB:*
- MMS messages
- max size 45 kB per MMS message
- Ringing tones
in Gallery - 20 preset, all removable
- Images -
10 preset, all removable
* Shared memory
The following features in this phone may share memory:
Phone book, text and multimedia messages, images and ringing
tones in gallery, calendar, to-do notes, and Java games
and applications. Using any such features may reduce the
memory available for any features sharing memory. This
is especially true with heavy use of any of the features
(although some of the features may have a certain amount
of memory specially allotted to them in addition to the
amount of memory shared with other features). For example,
saving many images, bookmarks, Java applications, etc.
may take all of the shared memory and your phone may display
a message that the memory is full. In this case, delete
some of the information or entries stored in the shared
memory features before continuing.
