I felt your service was excellent. I ordered the HDR-1 Music Player, after some very helpful telephone calls to your office, via the site on Friday morning. I emailed your staff for more advice on Tuesday, to which I received a helpful reply almost instantly, and then was advised of my Consignia Track and Trace number on Tuesday evening. The parcel arrived promptly on Wednesday (just after the England - Nigeria game) all complete and in full working order.

I would like to thank you for your efficiency and praise you on 1) your telephone staff helpfulness and general friendly manor, and 2) on your logically laid out, easy-to-use site.

It was a pleasure doing business with you! I would not hesitate to use you again for any of my mobile phone requirements or queries!

Dear Sirs

Although I have now received my order, and your own service was reasonable, the same cannot be said for Royal Mail. It is a shame that you were unable to deliver to my work address. I picked up an e-mail on Saturday stating that this could be possible if I could fax certain items to you. This was impractical at the time so I decided to allow the order to proceed unchanged.

I did not read your e-mail of 10 June until the afternoon of 11 June, but was impressed to see that I could check the progress of my order via the Royal Mail's web site. At around 4pm, it showed that the package had been 'Delivered'. On my arrival at home I was disappointed to find a card to say that my parcel had not been delivered as a signature was required. The card stated that the parcel was now at 'East Croydon' - no address for the sorting office or opening times were given on the card. I decided a trip to the sorting office was in order, however, despite a lot of activity there, the public counter had closed at 4pm.

I managed to collect the order the following morning, this involved an unscheduled train stop at East Croydon.

My complaints are therefore:-

1 Why are you not able to deliver to an alternative address when the item is ordered on the internet? Other companies that I've ordered from in this way do not have a problem with this.
2 I was not given the choice of 'Special Delivery' or not, and was then to be charged extra for it.
3 Royal Mail's tracking service did not work.
4 Card left by Royal Mail had insufficient information on it, thereby wasting a lot of my time.

Overall, I'm not very impressed.

[We are sorry for your disappointment. Unfortunately we have to protect ourselves as well as the card holder, by only shipping to the registered name and address. To ship to another address, like an office, we need written authorisation from the card holder. We ship via Special Delivery as there is a signature required upon delivery and the package is also insured. Again, these measures are there to protect the card holder. Just to let you know I have received the 6310i and it is great.Great service especially refunding when the price dropped.A shipping option of registered airmail would be good for international customers.Good for when Nokia finally release their BT headset.
